JoyceThis trip always encompasses emotions that range from laughing hysterically one minute to sobbing uncontrollably the next. The emotions are raw and always at the surface. We are seeing joyful, smiling innocent faces one moment and the next moment we are sitting at homesteads with broken families, swollen stomachs and extreme poverty. Maybe this is why Swaziland burrows itself into your heart and never leaves. We truly get to experience the range of emotions of the Lord. Jesus was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He also radiated unspeakable joy while He walked the earth. Being in Swaziland makes us feel somehow closer to Him because we get to walk in His shoes for a moment in time. We are grateful for this journey and pray that what God has sown in our hearts will transform us so that our lives will be a sweet aroma to the Lord.CricketFootballCourtlyn Madi

I am praying for you. These pictures warm my heart and I know God is in the midst of all that is happening. It reminds me of my mission trip to Nicaragua. I am so thankful you all have felt the call to go and minister. Your broken hearts are raw and necessary. This confirms your purpose. God is at work and using you all in a mighty way!

Praying for you moment by moment throughout the day! Praying for your strength to see what you are seeing and love in His name. Those precious climb right in your heart, don’t they? … and they don’t leave!! The pictures warm and excite my heart so! I wish I could come through the picture and be with you all! Thank you for allowing your hearts to go to that tender place to be Jesus to these precious people! Love you all!
