A Fork in the Road

Many of us remember a moment in time where a decision was made that changed the course of our life.  We call this moment a “fork in the road”.   Sometimes a fork that we take transforms our lives in such a way that we can never go back to where we’ve began.

Twenty eight individuals  have decided to take a fork in the road that will rewrite the story of their lives.  They will take this journey which will mold and shape them into “jars of clay” to be used for Kingdom purposes.

On May 28-June 9, this team of individuals will travel to Africa to minister to the vulnerable children of Swaziland.

Swaziland has been experiencing a severe drought which has resulted in a food shortage that we have not seen during our past trips.  The team will need prayer and encouragement from our “at home” team as we will need strength of the Lord to be able to  do what God has called us to do.

  As we are entering our summer, the Swazi’s are entering their winter where food shortage will be at an all time high.  Our goal is to provide one months supply of food for each homestead that houses the 400 children which attend our two care points.  We will be visiting as many homes as possible during our trip in order to take a food care package.  The cost of each package is $40.  If you would like to provide food for one of our Swazi families, you can write your check to Warren Baptist Church and put “Swaziland Ministry Fund” in the memo and mail it to Amy Woody – Warren Baptist Church – 3203 Washington Rd. Augusta, GA  30907.
